Pedal Assisted Electric Bicycles - Have your say

Nottingham City Council has been invited to submit a national bid for funding to introduce peddle assisted electric bikes in the City as part of our integrated transport network. This would form part of our existing Citycard Cycle Scheme and would compliment our local public transport options.

By 'electric bike' we mean: A bicycle with a battery powered motor, which the user pedals, the motor assists the rider as much or as little as the rider requires.

To help us to understand what demand there is for pedal assisted electric bikes and what type of journeys will be made, we would like to hear your views. Please fill in this survey and be in with the chance of winning 20 voucher to spend in the Victoria Shopping centre.

NB. The current plan is to introduce electric bikes at certain points in the city as the initial pilot e.g. Broadmarsh Bus Station, Victoria Centre Bus Station and Queens Drive Park and Ride. The electric bikes would need to be returned to the same point.

Consultation ends: 4th August 2015
