Working with children and young people aged 0-19 with physical and / or learning disabilities and challenging behaviour delivering services to Nottingham City.  The role entails working with children, young people and families within their home environments, including foster care and short breaks placements, to enable independence, safety and access to essential facilities.

Holding the most complex cases, you will complete individual assessments of need, including specialist postural management; moving and handling and risk assessments leading to the development of multi-faceted care plans. These will include the provision of equipment; minor and major adaptations; postural management seating; moving and handling guidance and equipment; safety interventions and support with rehousing, in line with departmental policy and procedure.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

 - The role is exciting and challenging and we are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals with initiative and a caring nature.

 - Excellent communication skills, planning and organisational skills are essential.

 - A commitment to provide high quality, equitable services to children, young people and families is essential.

 - Previous experience is essential for this level 3 / H grade position as you will be expected to act as a senior member of the team, giving guidance to more junior staff.

We are seeking to recruit a range of LGV Drivers to our Public Realm Operatives post to work collectively across different services in numerous LGV vehicles.

The role requires the successful applicants to hold a Class 2 LGV Driving License, and you will be required to drive a wide range of operational vehicles including waste collection vehicles, gritters and mainline sweepers.

You could be required to work flexible annualised hours equating to a full time working week of between 37 or up to 45 hours (working longer or shorter hours throughout different weeks) across numerous working patterns.

Your annual salary will be paid in arrears in 12 equal monthly instalments.  Your annual salary will be within Band D (£17,372 - £19,742 subject to pay award) plus enhancements for any unsociable hours and weekend working.
