Get involved and have your say on the Health and Wellbeing Strategy

The Council are holding a focus group this Thursday with citizens to help shape our Health and Wellbeing Strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved and have a say on what our new strategy should look like.

The Health and Wellbeing Board (made up of partners including health services, the city council, the police, representatives from the community and voluntary sector etc) work together to improve peoples health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities between different areas of the city. Their overall aim is for citizens of Nottingham to live longer, happier lives.

The Board are starting to develop their next strategy which will outline their priorities for the next four years.  They will be holding a number of events, discussions and focus groups and  we would like your help in designing the questions which they will use to engage the citizens of Nottingham to find out what is important to them and how best to improve peoples health and wellbeing.

If you would like to shape the engagement on the Health and Wellbeing Strategy, please get in touch.
