Today's Forecast

This afternoon will be cloudy and breezy with outbreaks of rain and occasional heavier bursts possible around the middle of the afternoon in particular. The rain will clear eastwards by around 1600 or 1700 with clearing skies and colder air arriving from the west soon after. It will stay dry this evening and overnight with long clear periods and generally just patchy cloud. This will allow it to turn colder than recent nights with RST's falling close to freezing on some roads. However, at the current time, all routes are expected to remain just above freezing with the risk of any hoar frost being low. Dry on Sunday morning with plenty of bright or sunny periods.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Sunday It'll be dry with bright or sunny spells throughout the day. It will be on the breezy side, with a freshening south-westerly wind. The cloud will be increasing from the south overnight, with RSTs staying above freezing.

After a cool and bright start to the day, it will become increasingly cloudy throughout the day. It will be quite a windy day for many. It will remain mild overnight, with RSTs staying above freezing overnight. .

It will remain unsettled during Tuesday and Wednesday, with a band of rain, locally heavy at times, slowly moving northwards during Tuesday. The rain is likely to be slow to clear away to the north on Wednesday, giving a wet start for many, but brighter skies with some showers following on behind later in the day. It will remain mild throughout, with RSTs staying comfortably above freezing
