Today's Forecast

Remaining murky with mist through much of the afternoon. Widespread mist in the evening thickening overnight and especially through the early hours. Slow to lift and break through the morning. RSTs all kept comfortably above zero.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
TUESDAY Mist and fog lifting into low cloud during Tuesday afternoon, but staying dull and cloudy with some patchy, mainly light rain through the evening. Remaining cloudy and mild overnight with some fog likely, mainly over hills and further patchy rain at times. Similar on Wednesday morning with fog/low cloud slowly clearing.

Wednesday afternoon will be mostly cloudy with a few outbreaks of showery rain expected. Turning dry overnight and staying mild, with some clear spells developing, possibly allowing some mist and fog patches to form. Any mist or fog will lift into low cloud on Thursday morning as winds strengthen a little.

Generally cloudy, although some hazy sunshine is possible for a time on Thursday afternoon before a band of mainly light rain crosses the area overnight accompanied by a strong breeze. After a bright, dry start, another spell of cloudy, wet and windy weather is expected during Friday. This will clear overnight, but the continuing breeze will ensure it stays mild throughout.
