Today's Forecast

Remaining dry with some sunny spells across the network at first today. Cloud will slowly build through the afternoon from the west with a few showery outbreaks also possible during late afternoon, and at times during the evening. Some clearer spells are expected during the early hours of Thursday morning which will allow RSTs to fall slightly, however they are expected to remain well above freezing tonight.
Variable cloud but it should remain dry through the rest of Thursday morning.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Thursday Mostly dry, but with isolated outbreaks of light rain possible throughout the day, as cloud spreads from the west. This thicker cloud will be accompanied with strengthening winds overnight, ensuring a mild overnight period.

Friday

A cloudy day with further drizzly outbreaks of rain at first. However winds will strengthen ahead of a band of heavy and blustery rain, which will spread across the region during the afternoon. This will quickly clear east leaving clearing skies and strong winds overnight. RSTs are then likely to fall below zero in places, bringing a low risk of ice and frost

Saturday

and

Sunday

.Saturday
Clouds will gradually build from the west during the day, with an area of showery rain spreading east. It will also remain rather breezy. With rain easing overnight, and clearing skies, temperatures are likely to fall close to freezing.
Sunday
After a bright start, thicker cloud is expected to spread in from the west, bringing one or two spots or rain or drizzle. With winds continuing to be strong and cloudy skies, temperatures are expected to remain above freezing.
