Today's Forecast

Staying dry with variable cloud through today with some brightness at first this afternoon. Increasing cloud amounts later in the afternoon and evening although staying dry throughout. Remaining within the mild airmass tonight therefore RSTs remaning well above freezing. Very strong or gale force winds developing through the period. 


Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Saturday Rather wet and windy during Saturday, with persistent and heavy rain at times, accompanied by gale force south-westerly winds. Rain and strong winds will clear away to the south-east overnight into Sunday. It will be very mild overnight. It will be a brighter and fresher start to Sunday morning, with sunny spells


It will be dry and bright afternoon for many, although cloud will be increasing from the south throughout the day. Cloud and rain will spread northwards overnight into Monday morning, and it will be another mild night. A wet start to Monday morning, with strong to gale force winds in places




A band of rain, heavy at times, will move slowly south-eastwards during Monday, accompanied by strong to gale force winds in places. It will remain mild, wet and windy overnight. It will be a brighter start to Tuesday morning, with a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers. Tuesday afternoon will continue to see a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers, although some places will escape dry. Dry, with clear spells overnight, with a patchy frost in places. It will be chilly start to Wednesday, although it will be dry and bright, with sunny spells.
