Today's Forecast

Mild, largely cloudy and dry to start Wednesday afternoon. Cloud thickening though with outbreaks of rain spreading from the west from around 1600. Rain then becoming persistent and slow moving across the area from around 2200 and perhaps turning locally heavy at times. The rain will continue for much of the night, clearing by around 0700. RSTs remaining well above freezing throughout. Dry conditions developing on Thursday morning, with some sunny spells

 

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Thursday Generally dry and cloudy with a few bright or sunny intervals through the afternoon. Rain spreading northeastwards during the evening. This rain could be heavy at times. Rain tending to ease towards the end of the night but it will remain cloudy. Becoming dry and turning brighter on Friday morning with lighter winds

Friday

Dry and bright or sunny during the afternoon. Largely clear to start the evening but turning milder, cloudier and windier overnight with persistent and occasionally heavy rain spreading in from the west. Remaining cloudy, wet and windy on Saturday morning.

Sunday

Cloudy and very windy with further rain during on Saturday, with a risk of locally heavy and persistent rain. This is likely to continue through the evening and overnight period also. Rain and winds easing later on Sunday with some clear spells overnight. Largely fine and dry on Monday morning, but fairly breezy..
