Today's Forecast

A few brighter spells at the start of the afternoon, but turning cloudier with a spell of patchy light rain late afternoon towards dusk, this clearing northwards later in the evening, largely dry overnight but staying breezy and mild through the early hours and into Monday morning. .

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Monday A breezy day, with thickening cloud. Outbreaks of rain are likely to reach the region overnight, before clearing east during the early hours. Winds will ease and whilst RSTs are likely to fall away for a time, they are expected to remain above freezing.

Tuesday

A generally fine and sunny day on Tuesday, however winds will increase again and cloud will thicken overnight as unsettled conditions spread in from the west. Whilst it will stay largely dry overnight, cloudy skies and strong winds should keep RSTs above freezing

Wednesday

and

Thursday

After a wet and windy afternoon and evening, rain will clear eastwards during the first half of Wednesday night. Colder and clearer conditions will follow the rain, allowing RSTs to fall away during the early hours of Thursday, however these are currently expected to remain above freezing. A dry, and bright day follows Thursday, however it will be colder than recently. It then remains clear and cooler overnight, leading to RSTs falling close to zero overnight, before further unsettled conditions spread in later on Friday.
