Today's Forecast

A windy and cloudy day. Although largely dry the odd outbreak of rain is likely at times. Overnight it will remain largely dry but generally cloudy and breezy.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Wednesday Largely cloudy on Wednesday afternoon with winds easing and further rain at times. Cloud and rain clearing during the evening, allowing RSTs to fall close to freezing by the end of the night. After a chilly start to Thursday morning it will turn somewhat cloudier and breezier towards midday

Thursday

Dry and fine during Thursday afternoon, but cloud and outbreaks of rain spreading eastwards during the evening and continuing overnight. Becoming windy again across all areas with gales developing in exposed locations. RSTs staying well above freezing. Turning largely dry, but remaining cloudy on Friday morning with localised severe gales possible

Friday

and

Saturday

Cloudy, mild and very windy on Friday afternoon with a continued risk of gales in exposure and occasional periods of rain. This rain turning heavier and more widespread for a time overnight before clearing southeastwards during the early hours of Saturday. Colder and clearer conditions will follow with RSTs likely to fall close to freezing by the end of the night, but it will remain windy. A much colder, brighter and showery day on Saturday, with showers falling as snow to low levels and likely to give some local accumulations, mainly on hills. Winds easing overnight with an ongoing risk of wintry showers and RSTs falling close to freezing again overnight. Sunny spells and isolated wintry showers on Sunday morning
