Today's Forecast

This afternoon will see a mixture of sunny spells and isolated showers, the showers becoming more persistent and heavy in places from about 1600. Further heavy showers are expected through the evening, but they will become lighter and more isolated after midnight. Sunday morning will then be rather cloudy with further showers at times. RSTs are expected to stay above freezing.

 

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Sunday A generally dry and bright afternoon with sunny spells. Overnight cloud will increase, bringing the risk of a few showers, possibly turning to sleet at times, however no accumulations are expected at this stage

Monday

 Monday afternoon will be showery with a cold northerly breeze. Overnight these showers will linger for a time, but from midnight some drier and clearer spells are possible with conditions turning quite chilly. Further showers are expected throuh Tuesday morning

Tuesday

and

Wednesday

 Tuesday afternoon will continue to be cold with a few isolated showers of rain, sleet and at times snow, developing before conditions become dry and clear into the overnight period. Wednesday morning will be mostly dry, cold and clear however, cloud will build after dawn, with a low risk of one or two isolated showers by midday.

Wednesday: Cloudy with a few showers through the afternoon. A more organised band of showers will arrive through the afternoon/evening brining a risk of some stronger winds. Showers easing through Thursday morning.
