Today's Forecast

Windy, with cloud and rain clearing eastwards during the afternoon. Dry conditions are expected from 1500 with some decent clear spells developing and winds easing. Cloud will build from the southwest overnight and further spells of rain are expected from around 0100, with winds strengthening once again. The rain will be heavy and persistent at first, but it will soon turn lighter and patchier and will continue on-and-off through the rest of Tuesday morning. RSTs are expected to remain above zero, reaching their lowest values around mid evening before rising again through the night.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Tuesday Cloudy with outbreaks of rain through the afternoon. The rain will ease through the evening and the cloud will thin and break to leave a dry night with decent clear spells. Fine and dry on Wednesday morning. It will be rather windy throughout and RSTs should remain above zero.

Wednesday

Bright and breezy through the afternoon with some decent sunshine. However cloud will build from the west overnight bringing spells of rain through Thursday morning, perhaps turning heavy at times, and accompanied by strong winds. RSTs expected to remain above zero.

Thursday

and

Friday

Rain will soon clear on Thursday afternoon and winds will ease somewhat. Overnight will be largely dry and clear and RSTs likely to fall close to zero. A cool, dry and bright start to Christmas Day, but cloud will build from the southwest through the morning bringing patchy light rain through the afternoon accompanied by strengthening winds. A cloudy, mild and windy night then follows with further spells of light rain or drizzle. RSTs staying above zero.
