Today's Forecast

Tuesday afternoon will be largely bright but remaining breezy, with isolated showers of rain at times, not expected to bring the risk of wash off. During the evening and the first part of the night isolated showers continuing but there will be some longer clear and dry spells allowing temperatures to drop quickly. RSTs are likely to drop close to freezing. Becoming increasingly cloudy from around 0500; bringing further showers of rain, possibly heavy enough to cause run off at times. The extra cloud will raise the temperatures somewhat as it moves in so ice is unlikely. Precipitation and cloud will clear into Wednesday morning to leave dry conditions with sunny spells.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Wednesday Wednesday afternoon will be dry and breezy with quite a lot of sunshine. It will be cloudy overnight with some light rain at times. RSTs are likely to stay above freezing. Rain will stop on Thursday morning and some bright spells will develop, though the odd light shower is still possible. Winds will get stronger on Thursday morning  .

Thursday afternoon and night will be cloudy, mild, windy and mainly dry. There will be some brighter spells on Friday morning. RSTs will stay well above freezing

Friday afternoon will be windy and cloudy. A band of rain and stronger winds is likely overnight which will keep temperatures above freezing after an early minimum. The rain will clear for a time on Saturday morning.

Some more rain is likely late on Saturday accompanied by some strong winds. Once again, this is likely to keep RSTs above freezing. .
