Nottingham City is a leading authority in the management of a single point of access and pathway for managing the mental health and emotional well-being of children and young people supported by a strong multi-disciplinary partnership, and we would like to invite you to join our team!

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Leading and managing the planning, coordination, delivery of a Citywide CAHMS team

• Managing the practitioners responsible for ensuring positive mental health and wellbeing for vulnerable children, young people and their families

• Promoting high standards of practice in safeguarding, management of risk, and effective interventions through a robust performance management framework

You will hold a relevant degree in mental health and/or equivalent professional qualification, such as social worker/teacher or a nurse, along with the ability to demonstrate your knowledge and skills in therapeutic casework. Your experience should include implementation of evidence based practice to lead and drive a high performing and highly motivated team.

As an experienced manager, you will receive a salary of £40,217 per annum (£40,217-£43,874).  In addition you will have the benefit from supportive and proactive management and a genuine commitment to you and your career development with a clearly defined career path.  Additionally, we have family friendly policies, a final salary pension scheme and an award winning employee benefits scheme.  This post attracts a relocation package (details on request).
