Today's Forecast

Cloudy and breezy for the afternoon but mainly dry with only the odd spot of drizzle at times. By dusk becoming windy with a band of persistent rain spreading from the north. This band will weaken and become patchy in the early hours and the winds will ease a little. From dawn tomorrow more persistent rain will slowly spread in from the southwest and the winds will strengthen once again. It will be mild throughout with RSTs remaining above freezing.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Saturday Rain is expected to become increasingly persistent and heavy through Saturday afternoon and evening, accompanied by strong southerly winds. The rain should clear away to the east later in the night but it will remain breezy. Sunny spells and scattered squally showers are expected on Sunday morning, perhaps becoming heavy with a small risk of hail and thunder.

Sunday

It is likely to remain very windy through the remainder of Sunday and into Monday morning with clear/sunny intervals and further blustery showers, a few of which could be heavy and thundery especially through Sunday afternoon.

Monday

and

Tuesday

The windy and showery conditions will continue throughout the remainder of Monday and most of Tuesday with temperatures dropping back to near average. Showers are likely to largely die out on Tuesday night into Wednesday and with lighter winds and long clear spells there is a risk of touch of frost during the early hours and around dawn on Wednesday.
