go ultra low launch

Nottingham named a "Go Ultra Low" City

On Monday the 25th January Nottingham got the brilliant news that we were successful in our bid to the Office of Low Emission Vehicles to become a Go Ultra Low City. Nottingham is one of four cities to be awarded funding alongside Milton Keynes, London and Bristol.

We were awarded a total of 6.1 million to deliver a package of improvements to make Nottingham a Greener, Cleaner city. The official national launch took place in Nottingham, hosted by the University of Nottingham, where the Secretary of State for Transport Patrick McLoughlin MP was joined by Councillor Alan Clark, the Vice Chancellor of Nottingham University and Councillor Steve Calvert from Nottinghamshire County Council to help celebrate the win.
