Today's Forecast

Rather cloudy but mainly dry through this afternoon. Overnight there will be variable amounts of cloud, but clear spells will allow RST's to fall below freezing with hoar frost developing. Staying dry through the morning with some bright spells at times.

 

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Sunday

Breezy, with sunny spells on Sunday afternoon. Overnight there will be clear periods and a risk a few generally light sleet or snow showers. During Monday morning the risk of showers should lower with good sunny spells.

Monday

Variable amounts of cloud with a few sunny intervals and isolated sleet or snow showers during the afternoon, again with the risk of local accumulations. Showers and winds easing overnight to give a very cold night. Dry and sunny on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday

and

Wednesday

Dry and largely sunny on Tuesday afternoon. Cool during the evening, but overnight cloud is likely to increase with some rain and sleet expected and possible snow on hills on Wednesday morning. This turning persistent by midday. Rain, sleet and snow clearing southeast overnight with a late drop in temperatures. Plenty of sunshine on Thursday morning with scattered showers. These wintry, mainly over high ground.
