Today's Forecast

Cloudy for the afternoon with outbreaks of rain spreading from the west and becoming very windy. Remaining very windy overnight, possibly gale force in exposed locations, with outbreaks of rain continuing. Into Friday morning another band of squally showers will cross the area before the cloud cover starts to break mid morning, however it will still remain windy. Mild throughout with RSTs remaining above freezing.


Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)

Friday afternoon will be cloudy, mild and very windy and occasional periods of rain. The rain will turn heavier and more widespread for a time overnight before clearing during the early hours of Saturday. Colder and clearer conditions will follow with RSTs likely to fall but stay above freezing. However, it will remain windy. Saturday morning will be dry, sunny and cool with a strong breeze.


Saturday afternoon will start cold and bright but cloud and outbreaks of rain will soon arrive. Clear skies will develop light winds will allow RSTs to fall close to freezing.




Conditions will become cloudy and windy again during Sunday afternoon and some rain is likely during the afternoon and evening. It will be cloudy, windy and mainly dry overnight with mild temperatures. It will become clearer and cooler again on Monday morning after a further spell of rain. Monday afternoon and night will be showery and very windy. However, RSTs are expected to stay above freezing.
