Any Means Necessary

at Nottingham Playhouse

When Mel meets Dave at a protest, she believes she has met her kindred spirit. But is he who he appears to be?
As the Pitchford enquiry begins this year, Any Means Necessary, by Kefi Chadwick, will bring events inspired by one of the worst examples of undercover policing to the stage. This compelling drama explores the emotional costs of betrayal and a womans drive to find out the truth about the man she thought she knew.       Get tickets from 10.50

Simon Barraclough Sunspots - 26 January

7.30pm at Nottingham Lakeside Arts

Is the Sun a god, a man, a woman, or simply a giant ball of hydrogen? Why does it tell fibs about its favourite painters? Is the Sun afraid of dying? Does it get depressed? And what does it really think about us, and the solar system it is bound to care for?

Sunspots is a poetic, musical and visual journey from the birth of the Sun, through its long and eventful life, towards its ultimate death.

Simon Barraclough (Poet in Residence at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory) is your guide on a journey that mixes fact, fiction, horror, humour and joy, together with music and film.
