Today's Forecast

Dry this afternoon, with variable cloud and sunny spells. Some clearer spells during the evening, though cloud will begin to thicken overnight and winds will strengthen too. The odd spot of light rain and drizzle is possible during Saturday morning. RSTs remaining comfortably above freezing.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Saturday Saturday: Cloudy, wet and windy for Saturday afternoon, the rain clearing eastwards to leave cloudy conditions into the evening. Overnight the cloud will tend to break to give some good clear spells but by dawn on Sunday a few showers will start to develop, becoming scattered into the morning

Sunday: Sunshine and scattered blustery showers on Sunday afternoon with some hail and thunder mixed in. The showers will die away late evening to be replaced by persistent and heavy rain spreading from the south for the overnight period. The winds will also strengthen becoming strong for Monday morning.

Monday: Windy with outbreaks of rain during Monday afternoon and remaining cloudy for the day. Overnight some clear breaks will occur but also the odd shower is possible. Tuesday morning will see scattered blustery showers developing.
Tuesday: Sunshine and scattered blustery showers with possible hail and thunder Tuesday afternoon. Overnight into Wednesday the showers will die out and some good clear periods will develop
