Today's Forecast

Some sunny spells are possible at first this afternoon, otherwise it will be rather cloudy with showers at times. Between 1600 and 1900, some localised spells of sleet are possible as a heavier band of showers passes through (no accumulations are expected). Overnight it will remain largely cloudy with showers continuing at times, however these will begin to become less frequent and less heavy as the night goes on, until some clear spells begin to develop from 0500. RSTs are likely to hold above freezing. Wednesday morning will then be bright with some isolated showers around. Minimum RSTs plus 1.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)

Isolated showers, locally heavy at times with thunder and hail expected during Wednesday afternoon, but these probably less frequent than on Tuesday with good sunny spells for many. Mainly dry overnight with the odd shower but mostly clear skies expected overall. Bright or sunny spells with isolated showers, locally heavy developing again during Thursday morning.

A fine and mostly dry afternoon on Thursday for many parts with good spells of sunshine, but still a few isolated showers, heavy at times with a hail and thunder risk. Becoming dry, clear and cool overnight. Turning cloudy and breezy on Friday morning but remaining dry.

Friday afternoon will be cloudy and breezy but generally dry. Similar overnight and into Saturday, though perhaps with some intermittent light rain at times. Becoming dry by Sunday morning with decent bright or sunny spells developing.
