This vacancy is for a weekend Care Bureau Coordinator, working 15 hours over Saturday and Sunday

To provide an effective and efficient 'scheduling' and 'routing' service of all confirmed care bookings, referrals and requests received from (Care Bureau Advisors, members of the public, commissioners, health/assessment colleagues, citizens and Adult Social Care Provision employees)

Ensuring that prescribed procedures are followed to ensure optimum use of 'in house' and 'volunteer' resources and value for money demonstrated in relation to all care services provided by Nottingham City Council and a selection of care provider/s.

Allocate (Dispatch) work to in house providers, volunteers and approved suppliers ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of data/information is maintained at all times; and verify that all care has been delivered prior to processing invoices through for payment.


1. Ability to search, process and maintain manual and computerised records, including numerical calculations
2. A good knowledge and understanding of Adult Social care services and partnership working with other key agencies (e.g. health, housing, voluntary sector)
3. Ability to plan and prioritise own and others workload to meet deadlines, in a fast moving environment without direct supervision
4. Good IT competence for a variety of software packages, including accounts, E-mail, Word Processing & Spread sheet skills
