Today's Forecast

Some bright spells and perhaps the odd isolated light shower in the afternoon or evening but mainly dry. Cloud thickening later in the night and in the early hours a band of rain from the west persistent for a time. This rain clearing east soon after dawn leavin a mix of bright spells and showers in gusty westerly winds during Wednesday morning. RSTs staying fairly comfortably above zero throughout.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Wednesday There will be a mix of sunny spells and moderate to heavy showers of rain and hail through the day on Wednesday. During the night it will be partly cloudy and largely dry with only one or two light rain showers possible. Partly cloudy with sunny spells and light rain showers on Thursday morning. RST's staying above freezing.

Rather cloudy during Thursday afternoon with light to moderate showers of rain. Partly cloudy overnight with clear spells and perhaps a few light rain showers. Thursday morning should see a mix of sunshine and showers. RST's staying above freezing.

Friday afternoon will be partly cloudy with a mix of sunny spells and showers. The showers could well be heavy at times with a risk of hail and thunder. Any showers should fade away during the evening, giving way to a dry start to the night. Turning cloudy towards the end of the night with persistent rain for a time. That cloud and rain should then clear to the east by the end of the night, giving way to a mix of sunshine and showers by Saturday morning. The showers could again be heavy during Saturday with a risk of hail and thunder. Staying unsettled overnight with clear spells and further showers. Showers or longer spells of rain expected on Sunday morning. RST's staying above freezing on both nights.
