Today's Forecast

It will be cloudy this afternoon with scattered moderate to occasionally heavy showers of rain and hail. The showers should clear to the north by about 1900 UTC. It should then be dry from about 1900-0100 UTC with largely clear skies. Further cloud and showers will then spread in from the south by about 0100. Rain and hail showers will continue, on and off, through the rest of the night and into the morning, but there will also be some clear spells between the showers. RST's staying above freezing.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)

Fairly breezy and rather cloudy on Tuesday with scattered heavy showers and some bright or sunny intervals during the afternoon. With the showers there could be a risk of thunder and hail. Becoming cool with showers easing overnight to leave lengthy clear spells. After a largely dry and sunny start, Wednesday morning will see cloud and showers likely to increase in frequency once again, with thunder and hail a possibility.

Showers, heavy at times with thunder and hail continuing during Wednesday afternoon but probably less frequent than on Tuesday. Showers easing during the evening with skies clearing in many areas. Dry with clear skies at first on Thursday morning, but cloud building through the morning with the chance of the odd shower developing.

Generally dry and bright with one or two isolated showers likely on Thursday. Becoming dry, clear and cold overnight perhaps with some patchy mist or fog developing by morning. Dry and bright on Friday but turning cloudier overnight into Saturday morning.
