Today's Forecast

After a bright morning cloud will begin to build this afternoon with showers of rain moving in from the west tonight. Some of these may be heavy at times. Overnight the rain clears for a time, before further outbreaks late Monday morning. RSTs remain well above freezing.


Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)

A rather cloudy start to Monday afternoon with showery rain at first, but conditions will become drier by the evening with some clear spells developing overnight. Tuesday morning will be bright with patchy cloud and some sunny spells.


Tuesday afternoon will be largely dry with sunny spells and with just the odd isolated shower around during the afternoon. Overnight it will be generally dry with clear spells and light winds however, cloud and winds will increase towards dawn. It will become windy on Wednesday morning as cloud and a band of rain push in from the west.




WEDNESDAY: Winds will strengthen through the day on Wednesday with a band of rain giving way to showers through the afternoon. Overnight the showers will continue with conditions becoming chilly and breezy with scattered showers turning more persistent and possibly wintry over the highest ground through into Thursday morning.

THURSDAY: Thursday will see showers give way to a more organised band of rain moving down from the north through the afternoon. Conditions will become drier thrrough the evening with clearer spells developing overnight leading to another cold night.
