Open to L1 Occupational Therapists: £23,698 and L2 Occupational Therapists: £27,123.

Working Citywide

To carry out assessments for citizens in relation to disability, and develop person centred packages of support which may include rehabilitation and re-ablement, equipment provision and structural adaptations 

Essential Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with HCPC.

- Understand the issues of working in the community, and ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport.

- Awareness of relevant legislation, including safeguarding.

- Awareness of and commitment to the need for Continual Professional Development.

City-wide responsibility to support the Occupational Therapy / Enablement service to ensure that performance and customer care, in relation to citizens and their carers accessing adult social care, meet national and local targets and objectives. 

Essential Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.

- Substantial experience as on Occupational Therapy practitioner across a range of functions, including assessment provision of equipment and major adaptations.

- Ability to act as a role model and mentor in order to improve the practice of colleagues

- Experience of leading, developing and motivating a team
