Today's Forecast

Showers this afternoon will be a wintry mix of rain, sleet and hail, and they may be heavy at times. In places where hail falls, there will be brief sharp drops in RST followed by a rapid rise. These are not likely to cause any road RSTs to drop below zero. These showers will become less frequent during the evening, dying out before midnight. Sleet or hail are likely occasionally between 1200 and 0000. There are not likely to be any accumulations. There will be long clear periods overnight and RSTs will drop close to freezing but they are currently expected to stay above. When the sun comes out on Wednesday morning, temperatures will quickly rise. Some more showers are likely from 11am, on Wednesday morning, mainly rain, but also perhaps including some sleet or hail.

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)

Dry at first but then showers later in the afternoon or evening some perhaps heavy with hail. Overnight showers with a wintry mix of rain and sleet. Thursday morning further showers.

Sunday  afternoon will be dry with sunny spells and then Sunday night will be dry  with clear intervals. Monday morning will be dry with variable amounts of  cloud.

Windy with showery rain through the afternoon and overnight. Showers becoming more isolated Saturday morning and dying out in the afternoon. Clear spells and light winds overnight but turning cloudier from the west in the morning.
