Fixed Term 12 months

To lead on effectively organising, managing and delivering the required legislative changes in response to the implications of The Care Act 2014.

To drive forward the work of the Safeguarding Adult Board, which is a strategic multiagency partnership comprised of senior managers from agencies in Nottingham City, to ensure that the work of the Board is successfully delivered and maintained by working in partnership with key stakeholders and officers across Nottingham City Council and other agencies.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

To lead the work of the Safeguarding Adult Board (NCSAB) in response to The Care Act; developing, establishing and managing the required implications to ensure that policy and procedural changes are fully integrated within the City Council and across the partnership.

To develop and implement a management systems that ensure that NCSAB resources, governance arrangements, plans, policy, procedure and process, engagement and learning are fit for purpose and subject to an ongoing cycle of learning and review.

To develop and review a range of appropriate, multi-agency safeguarding policies, procedures and practice guidance in line with the NCASPB Business Plans and in consultation with partner agencies.

To embed risk management and impact frameworks across the partnership.

This post requires Enhanced DBS Check with Children & Adults Barring List Check (regulated activity with Children & Adults).
