Three more free open water swimming sessions at Colwick

Open water swimming

Our free ParkLives open water swimming sessions at Colwick Country Park have been proving so popular, we've had to add three more -at 6pm on Wednesday 27 July, 2pm on Saturday 6 August and 6pm on Wednesday 17 August.

Swimmers of all ages have been giving it a go, including families with young children and those of more mature years. You don't need to be a long-distance swimmer to take part, but you do need to be able to swim at least 400 metres.

The sessions are run by a qualified coach and there will be lifeguards on hand in case you need them. But be warned - the water can get a bit chilly, which is why we provide wetsuits.

Places for each session are limited to 20, so book yours as soon as you can through and look forward to an exhilarating outdoor swim. All the information you need is at
