37 hours at Spring Meadow Day Centre in The Meadows

37 hours at Martin Jackaman Day Centre in Aspley

30 hours and 37 hours at Oakdene Residential in St. Ann's

The day centres are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Oakdene is a residential unit so weekend work will be required on a rota basis

All sites are easily accessible by public transport

To provide safe and appropriate personal care and support to citizens in a way that maintains their dignity, maximises independence and gives them choice and control over the way their care is provided. This includes writing and maintaining individual person-centred care plans and the administration and provision of medication, as well as being prepared to work with Citizens with different and varying needs.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to encourage and support citizens to achieve and/or maintain maximum independence, and to maintain contact with friends, family and community.

- Experience and ability to support citizens who have behaviours and ways of expressing themselves that might be challenging.

- Ability to assess social care and health needs and develop, implement, maintain and update Person-Centred Care Plans.

- Awareness of 2005 Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty and Best Interest Decision making, as well as awareness of the Essential Standards of Quality and Care (CQC).

As a HGV Fitter/Mechanic you would maintain, inspect, repair and test the City Councils and external customers vehicles and equipment to prescribed standards in accordance with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency guide lines, manufacturer standards and the Councils Operator licence conditions.

The positions will be based at, Eastcroft Depot- London Road Nottingham. Flexibility of working hours is vital to our customer expectations and meeting service delivery targets. We require staff to work an extended day on shifts or nights (Plus allowances)

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- We are looking for applicants with substantial experience of working in a Commercial or the Public Sector vehicles, and are qualified to the minimum NVQ3/City & Guilds or equivalent standards. MOT tester qualification would be an advantage.

- A current driving licence is essential, with an LGV category C preferred.

- The applicants must demonstrate knowledge of working on a wide range of vehicles, working on their own initiative to manufactures times, completing and operating maintenance systems both written and electronically.

- Attend additional training courses, work shifts and overtime.

- You may also be required to participate in the out of hours call out rota.
