This CAMHS Practitioner role is specifically to work with young people and their families affected by historic domestic violence (DV), including: therapeutic work, creating links with voluntary sector agencies, educating the workforce about the impact of DV and offering consultation to other professionals and agencies were there is ongoing DV.

All CAMHS Practitioners are required to work in partnership with social care, health and education agencies to deliver accessible services for children and young people with a range of behavioural and emotional difficulties.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 2 years experience of working directly with children and young people.

2. Knowledge and skills in working therapeutically with young people presenting with a range of mental health difficulties.

3. Ability and experience of working with a wide range of professionals and agencies.

4. Willingness to work as part of a citywide team.

Working in partnership with Nottinghamshire Police to create a safe and clean environment across Nottingham City, a number of exciting opportunities have arisen in Nottingham City Councils Community Protection department.

As a Community Protection Officer you will perform a unique and innovative role. You will build strong links with your communities and deal with local issues at a local level; your neighbourhoods will know you and youll know them.

As a CPO, each day is different to the one before. This isnt a desk job; you will spend 85% of your time out on the streets ensuring you're visible and proactively interacting with the community. You will work a shift pattern including weekends and evenings for which you will receive enhanced pay for. You will conduct street patrols within designated areas of the City, aimed at tackling criminal activity, dealing with environmental crime and anti-social behaviour using delegated powers, acting as a capable guardian of the City.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Appreciation of the legislation and skills necessary in using enforcement powers (issuing fixed penalty notices) including the ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014

Ability to deal with enforcement situations tactfully and diplomatically.

Written communication skills in order to record actions.

Ability to keep manual and computerised records.

The recruitment process will be in three parts -

1). Fitness test

2). Assessment centre (observation, written and role play)

3). Formal interview
