We have another contact centre which is used in conjunction, Garden Street Family Centre, Garden Street, Radford, Nottingham NG7 3HD

Supervised contact workers will provide a consistent service to families with the aim of achieving high quality contact between children and their families. Work as part of Children and Families to facilitate and supervise contact sessions between children/ young people and their families within the agreement and processes of the care planning agenda. To work to support parent/carers whose contact is supervised, to provide safe and child focused sessions. To provide up to date information to the Social Worker, Principal Managers and the courts of progress of contact and issues arising.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Educated to at least NVQ L3 standard with a relevant children and families qualification

- Reliability when reporting back to managers when required and able to take decisive action during non-complaint and dangerous situations and to appropriately safeguard children

-Ability to manage complex group dynamics and diffuse conflict, without isolating diverse perspectives seeking support in the set tasks appropriately

- Able to record efficiently and in a timely manner ensuring the use of the electronic database is central to recording

To be responsible for dealing with Council Tax administration and Recovery. To deal

directly with customers of the service over the telephone, in writing and face to face to

accurately administer Council Tax and maximise collection through a variety of debt collection methods

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

To develop and maintain a technical, working knowledge of Council Tax administration and Council Tax recovery to enable accurate billing and to maximise collection.

To work as a team member and contribute ideas to assist in improving the work and customer experience.

To contribute to the collation of, and performance against a range of measures.

To gain an understanding of customer requirements and demonstrate flexibility and work towards resolving the customers needs.

Have a good working knowledge of the Adoption legislation and related issues, including achieving permanence via adoption

The training and preparation of prospective adopters

Support of adopter through the adoption process

Work with adopters they safeguard childrens interests both physically and emotionally

Understand the role of the therapeutic parent.

Willingness to work flexibly (including out of hours)

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Have a good working knowledge of the Adoption legislation and related issues, including achieving permanence via adoption. And of recent changes impacting adoption plans.

The recruitment, training and preparation of prospective adopters, and facilitating this.

Work with adopters to safeguard childrens interests both physically and emotionally. help adopters in the re-parenting and support of children in their care

Willingness to work flexibly (including out of hours) this is to facilitate training and support groups.
