Superhero Sunday

Sunday 2 October - 2-5pm

Come and celebrate our Davis Cup heroes this weekend as the trophy visits Nottingham Tennis Centre.

This will be the last chance to see the Davis Cup trophy with GB as the current holders. Celebrate the achievements of our tennis superheroes with a bit of superhero sports action thrown in.

There will be lots of sports including tennis and archery as well as fun challenges and games and a chance to try out the new fitness equipment too.

There will be plenty of opportunities to have a picture taken with the trophy and also to join in a number of activities for free and win prizes.

Although activities are suitable for all ages, there is aSuperTotsZone for the Davis Cup winners of the future and zones for older players to receive a bit of coaching and to play games.

Fitness fun with free gym/health suite access

Those wanting to build their superhero muscles can try some of the equipment available at the centre in the fitness suite and group exercise studio.

There will also be free use of the gym and health suite (steam room and sauna) on the day.

Come and try rowing machines, Boogie Bounce exercise trampolines, group cycling bikes and ViPR Tubes. ViPRis designed to provide an effective, complete body workout which builds muscle and burns calories through strength and movement training.

Free tennis court hire Sunday

Book your 1 hour outdoor court slot for either 2pm, 3pm or 4pm on Sunday. All equipment is provided.

The link to book is on the Clubspark website. If you don't already have an account then you may have to register but it is very fast.

Outdoor courts

Tournaments to watch

Those happier to watch the tennis action and to try and spot stars of the future can come along from 10am when theUniversity of Nottingham Team Training starts and studentstry out for this years team. This will take place until 2pm on the outdoor courts.

From 11am2pm, there will be a local inter-club competitionin which members representing their clubs will be given a nation to represent during a competition. Points are awarded for each teams final position in the categories of Mens doubles (15+), Ladies doubles (15+), 11 14yrs doubles and under 10 doubles.
