Regulatory performance survey

We are undertaking our biennial survey of the profession's views on the regulation of solicitors. The survey covers:

  • awareness and views of the range of SRA-regulated activities and other government regulation
  • satisfaction with SRA practices and activities, and
  • awareness of responsibilities under the outcomes-focused regulation framework.

The research will support the Law Society in monitoring SRA performance and inform the assistance we offer to members to overcome challenges they face in dealing with regulation. A random sample of firms will be surveyed from 10 August to 28 September and firms are kindly encouraged to participate if contacted.
