29 May 2015

Welcome to the May International update from the Law Society of England and Wales.

This month we meet some of the lawyers from China, Latin America, Africa and India coming to our International Marketplace conference on 1 July to develop their links with our members. We hear about legal life in Kazakhstan, Shanghai, Costa Rica and Ghana and the opportunities for cooperation with UK law firms.

Don't forget to submit your entries for our Excellence in International Legal Services award by 5 June. This is a great opportunity to showcase the work your firm is doing internationally, and for the first time it is open to foreign law firms who are members of our International Division.
