Junior Lawyers Division committee vacancies 2016 - call for nominations
Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you interested in issues that affect you and other members of the legal profession like you? Could you represent over 70,000 LPC students, trainees and solicitors from across England and Wales in a national and international forum? Do you want to make a difference to the future of the legal profession?
If the answers are 'yes', then you could get involved by standing for a position on the executive committee of the Junior Lawyers Division (JLD) of the Law Society, or for a position on the JLD national committee as a student representative.
Membership of the JLD is free and automatic for those who fall within the JLD membership remit, which includes LPC students, LPC graduates, trainees and solicitors up to five-years qualified. If you fall within the above criteria, are interested in helping to shape the future of the profession and have the time, determination and commitment, we encourage you to apply.
Although serving on the JLD executive committee can be demanding and, at times, challenging, it is also immensely rewarding.
Deadline for submission of nominations - Wednesday 12 October at 12:00
