24 June 2015

Welcome to the June International update from the Law Society of England and Wales.

Our International Marketplace conference is almost upon us offering the opportunity to meet over one hundred people in delegations from 16 countries from across the globe.

As well as hearing about legal life in Colombia in the coming month we have events looking at opportunities and issues across Latin America, Africa and Italy. Members also have the possibility to be involved in our English Law Week in Moscow later in the year.

Finally please do take the chance to hear justice minister Shailesh Vara MP speaking at the UK-India legal practice conference in July.

Dominic Hurley
Interim head of International Policy and Engagement
