Welcome Newport City Council's latest news and events bulletin
4 to 11 September 2015

Your garden waste collections are stopping for the winter

We will continue to collect garden waste until week ending 6 November 2015. Collections will start again from  week beginning 14 March 2016

Cardboard will continue to be collected fortnightly throughout the winter, on your normal collection day in the green bags for card.

You can take your garden waste – including Christmas trees - to the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC), Docks Way, or use your garden waste bin to collect leaf fall ready for the first collections in March 2015.

We would like to thank all residents for actively participating in the recycling schemes and helping to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill and saving thousands of pounds each year.

For all of your collection dates visit www.newport.gov.uk/mynewport
