Festival - 3 weeks to go!
There's only three weeks until the
Admiral Newport Food Festival. There's lots in store in the city centre on
Saturday 3 October 2015 including, chef demonstrations, over 70 stalls and

Newport - a dementia friendly
There are nearly 2,000 people living with dementia in
Newport and it is important that those living with the condition are able
to live as normally as possible with dignity and respect.
Newport City Council has successfully registered to
receive the Alzheimers
Society National Accreditation
as working towards becoming a
dementia friendly city.

Support for children with disabilities
Come along to Afasic Cymru support group at Malpas Court
Primary School on Friday 25 September 2015 to get information and advice
for families of children with speech, language and communication
needs.Afasic Cymru are currently offering free Makaton taster sessions for
parents and carers in Newport and Cardiff.
