Please take 5 minutes to complete our quick survey.

Garden waste collections are stopping over winter

orange top bin.jpgWe will continue to collect garden waste until 6 November 2015 and collections will start again from 14 March 2016.

Cardboard will continue to be collected fortnightly throughout the winter, on your normal collection day in the green bags for card.

You can take your garden waste – including Christmas trees - to the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC), Docks Way, or use your garden waste bin to collect leaf fall ready for the first collections in March 2016.

We would like to thank all residents for actively participating in the recycling schemes and helping to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill and saving thousands of pounds each year.

For your collection dates visit www.newport.gov.uk/mynewport

For information on the waste and recycling services we provide visit www.newport.gov.uk/recycling

Your waste. Our shared responsibility. Thank you for your co-operation.
