On Tuesday your name, along with 186,684 others landed on the desk of the Prime Minister.
That’s because we, alongside Frack Free Lancashire and Greenpeace, delivered the petition you signed to David Cameron.
You asked the Prime Minister to respect local democracy, by not allowing his Secretary of State, Greg Clark, to overturn Lancashire’s decision to reject fracking.
But there is still more to do. Can you ask your MP to put more pressure on Greg Clark?
Greg Clark MP has “called in” Lancashire’s decision, which means he could overturn it any day.
But we have already shown that we can win. Earlier this year we won a huge victory, when the Government was forced to backtrack on its plans to take all fracking decisions away from local councils.
People power works. That’s why we need to keep up the pressure on Greg Clark.
Ask your MP to write to Greg Clark to defend Lancashire’s decision and local democracy.
It’s a crucial time. We need Greg Clark to know just how many people don’t want fracking in Lancashire, the UK, or anywhere.
The more MPs that write to Greg Clark, the more he will have to listen.
Thank you for your continued support.
