Prepare for back to school traffic


The new school year will see a major increase in the amount of traffic on our roads. We’re doing our best to reduce the impact; please help us make our efforts go further by considering the travel choices you’re making.
  • www.traveline.info provides an easy A to B service which allows you to get where you need to be by public transport
     
  • Use Google maps to see live and typical congestion on your route
     
  • Consider whether the bus or train would be a better option than sitting in traffic.

Work continues on Frideswide Square with extended working hours in place. Please pay attention to advisory signs and the new layout if you plan to drive into the city via this route. More details here

A34 Milton Interchange work
Traffic management for the A34 Milton remains in place and diversions are in place at times. Visit the Milton webpage for maps and details, and sign up to the Milton travel bulletin for news of forthcoming diversions and closures. 

A40 Wolvercote & Cutteslowe Roundabouts
Work is under way at the A40 roundabouts, with traffic management in place. Significant delays to journeys are to be expected, particularly at peak times, and planning your journeys and allowing extra time is strongly advised.
