Find Dory at your local swimming pool


Finding Dory inspired swim sessions open to families of all ages and abilities from 22 July to 4 September. Each one-hour session will be a whale of a time as you dive like Dory, splash like sea lions, Fluke and Rudder, and hide like Hank in a series of activities based on ASA foundation swimming skills. Available in pools across Oxfordshire

Are you ready for a marvellous, mischievous summer at your library? Celebrate 100 years of the world’s greatest storyteller Roald Dahl with The Big Friendly Read, part of the Summer Reading Challenge 2016! My Little Swim School Summer Courses at Harwell

We are a unique and exciting swim school based in Oxfordshire  provide swimming lessons for all abilities, for both children and adults. We will be running 2 weeks of crash courses in summer for stages 1-5. The cost for the 5 days will be £45.
 

Afternoon Explorers at the Pitt Rivers Museum 

Mondays 2-4pm
Drop into the museums to touch real museum objects and make something fund to take home. Suitable for all. Drop in on Mondays 2 - 4pm
 

Bicester Town Council Community & Activity Playday 

3 August 
National Play Day celebrates children and young people's right to play freely in their communities.  Oxfordshire Play Association, along with other partners, organises Play Day events across the county - entry and all activities are completely free of charge.  
 

Dancemania Summer Holiday Workshops

1 - 5 August 9.30am - 4.00pm
Dancemania Dance Company was first established in April 1997. The School has since flourished now teaching children and adults many styles of dance from Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Street, Break Dance, Commercial Jazz, Musical Theatre & Contemporary.

Blenheim advance warning for next weekend

Countryfile Live is coming to Blenheim Palace 4 to 7 August and Wilderness Festival will be at Cornbury Park 5 to 7 August, there will be signs and traffic management in place to help keep traffic moving.

A40 Cutteslowe and Wolvercote Roundabouts 

We are now 12 months into the improvement scheme for Wolvercote and Cutteslowe roundabouts and the end is in sight. As previously reported, we plan to finish mid-October rather than the previous completion date of the end of November. More...

Network Rail Closures

Flood prevention, bridge repairs and re-signalling works are being done by Network Rail between 30 July and 14 August. Some railway lines will be closed for a time between Leamington Spa, Banbury and Didcot to Oxford. This may result in extra traffic on the roads – plan your journeys if you plan to travel by rail or car during this time. More information
