Blackberry picking season
Autumn is definitely here. Schools are back, and the county is enjoying some lovely late summer weather. As ever, we're looking for some fresh photos to feature on our Facebook page so if you've taken some great pics of Oxfordshire while out and about, let us know!

Your library, your space, whenever you need it.

We love our libraries. They're great community spaces whether it's getting lost in a book, studying or just using the space to sort a parking application out. We want to make sure our libraries are there when you need them, so we're making them available outside normal opening hours, starting with Eynsham and Summertown Libraries. Find out more.

Oxfordshire Libraries Newsletter

Is your loved one's Electric Blanket safe?

Electric blankets are lovely and cosy during the winter. But if they're faulty, they can really cause serious injuries. A third of blankets we tested last year failed the safety test, but luckily our Fire and Rescue service are traveling around the county testing blankets to make sure you're tucked up safely this winter! Edna reading in the garden

Volunteers needed!

Could you deliver books once a month to someone like Edna? We're on the lookout for some lovely people to help choose and deliver books to people who can't get to the library themselves. Watch the video to see just how much it means to Edna, and get in touch if you think you could help.
