Audit Scotland

Newsletter - October 2015

We're on the move

We're bringing staff from our two Edinburgh George Street offices together at a new base in November.

As well as saving around 300,000 per year,  the move to 102 West Port is a great opportunity to change how we engage with our clients and stakeholders. We look forward to welcoming you soon to the new office!

He has been appointed by the Scottish Commission for Public Audit and takes over from John Maclean whose term has come to an end.

Professor Russel Griggs OBE has also been appointed as a board member. Professor Griggs, who worked in the pharmaceutical industry before becoming the CEO of an industrial textile company, currently runs his own consultancy business.

We're working towards becoming a world class audit organisation - but we need your help. Our Code of Audit Practice is being revised and we've launched a public consultation on the draft.

Want to contribute? Both the draft and the response form are available on our website.

What's our plan?

Have you checked out our Corporate Plan yet?

The document sets out our vision and priorities for the next three years.

We've also published a Public Audit in Scotland document which outlines why public audit matters and the common themes in our work.

Read both these documents, along with our more recent annual report on our website.
