Save the date!

Come and join a lively debate into what is important in the regulation of new biological medicines. This is a special event to mark NIBSCs 40th anniversary.

This event will take place at The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London.

Biologicals represent some of the most important new medicines improving global health by preventing or providing novel treatments for the full spectrum of disease.  However the complexity of these powerful medicines requires them to be subject to detailed scrutiny.  Regulatory science ensures that innovations in medical treatment also lead to increasing patient safety.

NIBSC is holding a two day meeting to discuss the key scientific issues that are shaping the regulatory response to biological medicines as they revolutionise management of cancer as well as genetic, chronic inflammatory and infectious diseases.

About the event

The two day meeting will include an evening networking and thought leadership event.  The programme addresses four key themes:

  • Monoclonal Antibodies - The future of Biological Therapies
  • Molecular Pathology and Precision Medicines - The Importance of Getting it Right!
  • Keeping the Vaccine Pipeline Flowing
  • Advanced Therapies - Delivering the Promise
