Polls open at 7am and close at 10pm on Thursday 5 May. Polling places are expected to be busy and we are advising you to vote as early in the day as possible. At the polling station you will receive two ballot papers, one to vote for a candidate to represent your constituency and one to vote for a party or independent candidate to represent your region. You should make sure your votes count by only marking each ballot paper with one 'X' inside one box and no other writing or marks on the paper. If you are registered to vote your polling place is on your poll card which was posted to you, however if you lose it or did not receive it contact the Electoral Registration Office on 0131 344 2500 to find out where your polling place is. If you have forgotten to send your postal vote back, take it to any Polling Station in West Lothian until 10pm on polling day.
